Instructional Design Librarian, Assistant Professor (Kent State University Libraries, Ohio) Kent State University Libraries (Kent, OH) is looking for an Instructional Design Librarian to provide leadership and support for the libraries' role in online and distance education. The ideal candidate will combine the pedagogical knowledge of an instruction librarian with instructional design skills that enable her/him to apply learning technologies to help deliver scalable and sustainable online instructional programming. While this position will focus on using technology, often in online learning environments, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in a range of public services, including reference, on-line and in-person instruction and collection development. This is a 12 month, tenure track faculty position. Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS degree or equivalent. Two-year's experience in instructional design. Substantial experience in project management. Strong track record of designing, developing and deploying instructional technologies.
