Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Manager for Finance and Technology, who also serves as the Director of the Mississippi Digital Library, the incumbent performs support functions for the Mississippi Digital Library. The incumbent also assists with digitizing the university Libraries' collections Duties and Responsibilities: Assists participating and potential Mississippi Digital Library institutions in meeting technical requirements. Coordinates with Mississippi Digital Library Director. Provides access to MDL digital holdings. Develops and maintains MDL branding. Maintains social media related to Mississippi Digital Library, (i.e., Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, newsletter, etc.) Assists with digitization projects of university libraries' collections. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. In-state and out-of-state travel required. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and one year related experience and/or training. Demonstrated experience in website design and maintenance including knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with ContentDM Version 6.
