I wouldn't call it a development position. There is definitely a strong house-keeping component to the position. We want someone to collaborate with our librarians when they need to create content, to enforce content and style standards, and to communicate with the rest of the BC community about what they need out of the Library site. We certainly aren't averse to hiring someone with programming skills, and we plan to develop programming skills if the eventual hire enters without them.
