OCLC is a library cooperative so member libraries have mechanisms to push things one way or the other (keeping in mind that it's a big ship to turn). But every now and then, member libraries speak up when they see something that they think doesn't serve their interests and OCLC changes as a result -- remember the record use policy flap a couple years back? I seriously doubt they'd do anything too nutty with EZProxy because too many libraries care about it. kyle
