Software Test Engineer ProQuest Ann Arbor, MI The Software Test Engineer designs, implements, and executes automated test scripts, analyzes failure points, performs manual testing as needed and documents issues found during testing. Some of what you'll be doing: • Design, implement & execute automated tests using Selenium WebDriver • Ensures the overall efficiency of reporting across the organization; continually reviews quality metrics and ensures data integrity for all presentations • Ability to aggregate large amounts of information; derive strategic metrics focused on empowering the organization with decision enabling analytics and insights for thoughtful, articulate point-of-views • Diagnose automated test failures and take appropriate action • Work with development & QA teams to create comprehensive test suites • Maintain and enhance metrics and reporting system and utilities • Utilize Jira and Test Rail's data management and reporting capabilities • Communicates test progress, test results, and other relevant information to the QA Team Lead • Setup and maintain Linux and windows server environments • Utilize various APIs and MySQL databases to integrate reporting and testing tools Some of what you'll be doing: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline preferred plus at least 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to design, implement and execute automated tests and clearly document results • Experience with creating and maintaining excel dashboards for metrics and analytics • Very knowledgeable with Java • Ability to learn new tools • Strong troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to break down complex issues • Ability to comprehend business requirements and software specification documents Bonus Points! • Selenium • JIRA • Test Rail • SharePoint • Agile Methodologies • XML, HTML, and CSS skills Apply Directly at: http://ch.tbe.taleo.net/CH17/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?or g=PROQUEST&cws=1&rid=1171 About ProQuest ProQuest connects people with vetted, reliable information.
