Are you working to advance your research data management strategy? Do you want to integrate research data management into your institution’s services but aren’t sure where to begin?

We invite you to join the DLF E-Research Peer Networking and Mentoring Group course. The opportunity is open to any institution or individual planning or implementing research data management services; it is not restricted to alumni of the DuraSpace-DLF E-Science Institute.

Over seven months, you will develop the skills needed to take your institution’s data management strategy the next step. E-Science Institute faculty and CLIR/DLF postdoctoral fellows in data curation will facilitate the participant-directed learning experience through six webinars, informal online gatherings, and an in-person half-day conference in October. This will be augmented by one-on-one consultations and coaching with faculty. During the course, you will build a network of fellow data practitioners as you share information on implementing e-research services.

For an overview of the peer network, and why it is important, watch the March 12 open house webinar led by faculty member Chuck Humphrey, Research Data Management Services Coordinator at the University of Alberta Libraries, at http://clir.adobeconnect.com/p1jcflf8ojb/.

Course registration is available at http://www.diglib.org/learning/erpnmg/. DLF member institutions may be eligible for a discount. Please contact me with any questions.
