As part of that team, you will help launch our new IT Global Innovation Center focused on developing and applying advanced capabilities in information sciences, information security, mobility, social media and big data. We are seeking professionals with the following qualifications, skills and experience: • Education: MSc Degree or BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience • Experience with distributed development systems (DVCS) such as git or mercurial • Ontology, taxonomy, metadata description (RDF, OWL, micro languages) experience required. • Strong XML (including XPath, Xquery, some XML database) knowledge a must. • Outstanding architectural skills, ability to abstract and define interfaces • Hands-on experience with RESTful services • Ability to work independently, asynchronously (across time zones) and with excellent communication skills that cross language/culture/geographic boundaries The Applied Technology function is at the core of IT innovation. Applied Technology develops proofs of concept and technical architecture to define and sense future markets of the company. Specifically, Applied Technology develops competencies in big data, entitlements and user experience. We are seeking an energetic, forward-thinking professional to help identify and test new-edge ideas.
