Dear Colleagues:

The IDS Project's 10th Annual Summer Conference is Thursday, July 31st,
and Friday, August 1st at the Crowne Plaza Syracuse Hotel & Conference
Center. This year's conference theme is “One Collection, One Community.”
Approximately 250 attendees are expected.

On Wednesday, July 30th, we will be hosting two Pre-Conference Sessions
concurrently with the All-Region User Group Meeting. These two, three
hour technology sessions will be focused on IDS Logic and ILLiad Client
Addon creation. Since these two workshops will be hands-on,
participation will be capped at fifteen seats. Attendees will need to
bring a laptop with the ILLiad client loaded to benefit the most from
the sessions. Also Wednesday evening, we are pleased to announce a
pre-conference gathering.
This year's conference is packed with information and training regarding
exciting new technologies and strategies for access, resource sharing
and acquisitions/collection development. Session tracks include ILL/DD;
Technology; Collection Development; and Administration. You can choose
to follow an entire track or choose individual sessions from across each
track.
