The ALCTS Metadata Interest Group invites speakers to present at its meeting at the 2014 ALA Annual Conference in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 29th from 8:30 to 10:00 am (LVCC-N263).  Presentations will be approximately 30 minutes, including Q&A.

Possible topics may include, but are not limited to:

*Tools for metadata librarians, including those for creation and/or transformation  

*Innovative workflow design focusing on the intersection of tools/mechanisms and staff education and training

*Building sustainable/scalable workflows

*Metadata assessment

*Incorporating linked data in workflows

*Implementations of author/researcher identifiers (e.g. ORCID, ResearcherID) in repositories or digital collections
