INALJ grew from its 2010 start as an email pdf of jobs for librarians and other information professionals to a website with over 5.5 million page views in just over 3 years. INALJ started with almost no budget but developed an audience through grassroots marketing, social media strategizing and speaking engagements. And while it still focuses on employment resources for information professionals, the scope of the site has expanded to address all manner of professional development for information professionals, while continuing to highlight low-cost solutions for strategic marketing.
