Dear CWG,
A few weeks ago we put out a call for a new co-chair for the CWG, and Christie Moffatt from the National Library of Medicine has graciously stepped forward to fill this role. As she was the only person who expressed interest, it looks like there is no need for a vote from our membership.

Christie joined the CWG as a representative from NLM in January 2011 and has worked with a few small groups within the CWG over the past three years, including most recently on the soon-to-be-shared 2013 NDSA Web Archiving Survey. She's also served as the facilitator for the Science, Mathematics, Technology and Medicine content team, which published two case studies earlier this year for the preservation of science blogs and science forums. She writes about her experience with CWG: "I have found the experience of working with and getting to know its members very rewarding. I've enjoyed learning about projects at other institutions and sharing some of the challenges of working with digital content. Getting more involved in the NDSA though leadership in the CWG would be an exciting challenge and welcome opportunity."

We'll start the transition process now, but she'll officially take the co-chair baton from Cathy at the summer meeting. We're thrilled for Christie to be taking on this leadership role!

Best,
Abbie
