The University Library is seeking a Programmer Analyst to provide senior-level
programming, analysis and systems administration for library applications and
servers. The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for the implementation of
new systems as well as the enhancement, maintenance and support of existing
ones. Systems used include large vendor software solutions as well as custom
applications and tools developed in-house.

  
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, with an initial
starting salary in the range of $59,517 to $92,996 per annum.

  
Qualifications:

A university degree in computer science or a related discipline is required,
as well as a minimum of five years experience as an application developer in a
Linux environment. Candidates should also possess experience in requirements
analysis and software architectural design, vendor software implementation and
customization, web application development and database design using a WCMS
(Cascade, Drupal, or other), network security and authentication, application
development and code management tools, and directing the work of other
developers. Preference will be given to candidates with previous Linux systems
administration experience in a virtual environment. Experience with mobile
application and/or java web application development would be an asset.
