The ideal candidate will have the following: * 3+ years of software development experience, and 2+ years demonstrated experience developing web applications against MySQL * Experience developing complex applications using Ruby on Rails and MySQL * Strong customer service orientation * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Education level**: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; equivalent and considerable related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. **Preferred**: Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline The Library seeks individuals who are creative problem solvers, take initiative and believe in our academic mission.
