Application Specialist - Moodle University of Cambridge Cambridge The University of Cambridge wishes to appoint a skilled Technical Developer to join the Student Systems Teaching and Learning team, supporting the University's Moodle VLE. You will be responsible for providing technical development and support for Moodle. This includes configuration, maintenance, development, and operation of the system. You will provide 3rd line helpdesk support ensuring assigned requests are managed according to procedures, using version control and release management standards and software, and will work with Learning Technologists to identify, design and deliver new developments and plug-ins. Experience of working with Moodle would be an advantage but is not essential. You will be a team-worker, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have strong PHP, HTML, Javascript, and CSS skills. Experience of working within Higher Education would be an advantage. Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
