Digital Liberal Arts Librarian Hope College Holland Hope College seeks a Digital Liberal Arts Librarian to enhance the liberal arts by empowering faculty, librarians, and students to make full and better use of digital technologies that are reshaping pedagogical approaches and transforming research. Position is designed to allow the library to better support and inspire classroom and library faculty by providing personal assistance, workshop training, and tools to encourage integration of digital technologies into pedagogy. Qualifications * Masters in Library and Information Science or equivalent * Second Master's degree or Ph.D. desirable (field open) * Background in instructional design, instructional technology, digital humanities, educational technology or related field * At least two years experience teaching with technology * Familiarity with the concept of information literacy and the ACRL Competency Standards * Ability to seek out and learn/master new technology * Demonstrated successful experiences in collaborative working environments * Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written * Commitment to the character and goals of a liberal arts college with a Christian perspective and specifically, to Hope College's mission Brought to you by code4lib jobs: http://jobs.code4lib.org/job/18117/ To post a new job please visit http://jobs.code4lib.org/
