Catalyzed by sessions at the 2015 DLF Forum and Liberal Arts Colleges Preconference, members of the DLF community are working to form a Digital Library Pedagogy interest group<https://www.diglib.org/groups/digital-library-pedagogy/>.
On the DLF blog: “Join the new DLF Digital Library Pedagogy interest group<https://www.diglib.org/archives/10859/>” — a guest post by Elizabeth Kelly, Digital Initiatives Librarian at Loyola University, and Eleanor Dickson, HathiTrust Research Center Digital Humanities Specialist, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Possible working areas include:

  * assignments and instructional techniques using digitized and born-digital cultural heritage collections
  * emerging digital pedagogy tools and digital humanities projects
  * reviewing and sharing scholarly literature on digital teaching and scholarship
  * developing best practices for digital project instruction
  * training and ongoing skills development for digital instructors

Anyone interested in learning more or helping to shape the DLF Digital Library Pedagogy group is invited to join the group’s dedicated Google Group<https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/dlf-pedagogy> and participate in the group’s first Twitter chat, Tuesday, January 12, at 8 PM EST/7 PM CST, using the hashtag #DLFteach.
