Hi All,

With Code4lib 2016 less than two moths away, there are multiple
opportunities to help make the conference great by helping out on various
commitees, including:

Social Activities
<http://wiki.code4lib.org/2016_Conference_Committees#Social_Activities> :
This committee works closely with the local programming committee in
organizing events outside of conference hours. This committee is in charge
of organizing the Newcomer Dinner (traditionally held the night before the
first day of the main conference) as well as ensuring that there is a
variety of different events to cater to different interests
(alcoholic/non-alcoholic, carnivore/vegan, mainstream/niche, and everything
in between).

Onsite Volunteer Wranglers
<http://wiki.code4lib.org/2016_Conference_Committees#Onsite_Volunteer_Committee>:
Help organize MCs, sessions timers, registration helpers, etc

Streaming Video
<http://wiki.code4lib.org/2016_Conference_Committees#Streaming_Video_Committee>:
Help our volunteer videographers provide real-time access to the
conference sessions for those who can't make it.

2017 Proposal Host Voting
<http://wiki.code4lib.org/2016_Conference_Committees#Code4Lib_2017_Host_Voting_Committee>:
Organize the votes for the 2017 host.

Accessibility
<http://wiki.code4lib.org/2016_Conference_Committees#Accessibility_Committee>
: A new committee for 2016 - document and address major points of the
conference that are not accessible for conference attendees (physical and
virtual).
