Information Technology Librarian

**Job Summary**  
Reporting to the Associate University Librarian for Information Technology &
Discovery Services, the Information Technology Librarian works collaboratively
across the Library and the University to implement, maintain, support, and
enhance a wide range of technologies and systems providing innovative library
services to the DePaul community and to ensure enduring access to the
library's extensive range of online information resources and digital
collections. The Information Technology Librarian also supports library staff
and local and remote library users in the use of existing information
technology as well as the adoption of new and emerging technology. S/he may
serve as a liaison librarian in assigned areas.

  
The successful candidate will join a university ranked among the top 25 "Most
Innovative Schools" and help lead the evaluation and implementation of
technology-enhanced spaces and services of strategic interest and growth at
DePaul, particularly those supporting rapidly-expanding programs in Computing
and Digital Media, Data Science, and the Digital Humanities.

**About the DePaul University Library**  
The DePaul University Library is comprised of the John T. Richardson Library,
the Loop Library, and library service programs delivered to DePaul's suburban
campuses. The DePaul University Library is a partner in a number of campus
programs, including the first-year experience (Chicago Quarter), the Teaching
Commons, and the Graduate Certificate in the Digital Humanities. In 2013, a
major renovation of the Richardson Library facilitated the launch of the
Richardson Library Information Commons, a technology-enhanced space including
individual, group, and collaborative work spaces, Learning Commons and
Scholar's Lab. The DePaul University Library is housed in the Division of
Teaching and Learning Resources, which includes the DePaul Art Museum and
Faculty Instructional Technology Services, and is an active member of local,
