Hingham, MA: 2 Paid Metadata Internships, Hingham Public Library Hingham Public Library Hingham The Hingham Public Library is currently seeking applications for a metadata intern to assist in completing the conservation and digitization of the Governor John D. Long letters as part of an LSTA grant project for "Preservation of Library and Archival Materials". Using archival standards, the intern will read each letter completely and use an Excel spreadsheet to record such information as the author, recipient, date and location written, and item number. The Metadata Intern reports to the Library's Local History Librarian, in coordination with the Town Archivist/Project Director.
