Hi content team - Abigail Bordeaux and I were going to do the poster, but they've been replaced by Lightening Talks. So our proposal for a lightening talk topic is to "lightening fast" talk about the findings and opportunities uncovered by the Web Archiving environmental scan (that Harvard sponsored and was released earlier this year - http://library.harvard.edu/03112016-1203/harvard-library-environmental-scan-web-archiving) From DLF: 90-second Lightning Talks: We’re doing away with physical posters this year, in favor of more high-profile, high-energy lightning talks, held in a plenary session, with the opportunity to point listeners to additional information online. There are a couple of things we’d like to cover and we welcome your comments and ideas. 1) Recruiting new co-chairs: Abbey Potter is going on maternity leave for the next six months and will return as a member but not a co-chair. Christie Moffatt is also planning to rotate off at about the same time, as her 2-year term is up. So, we are actively recruiting for new co-chairs. We are working with DLF to find new leadership and support for the group through the transition. If you are interested in leading the group under the new interest group structure, please let us or Oliver or Bethany know. 2) Proposals for DLF Forum/NDSA DigitalPreservation 2016. The meetings will be held together in Milwaukee, WI Nov 7-10. Proposals are due for both meetings May 15, 2016. Is anyone working on a proposal? Are there any members who want to collaborate on a proposal? Please let us all know! 3) Summer programming: Is there a project, organization or person you’d like to hear more about? Send us your ideas for presentations to schedule this summer. 4) Need a refresher on what the CWG has worked on? Check out the NDSA CWG wiki: https://wiki.diglib.org/NDSA:Content_Working_Group Please respond to the list if you have anything to add. Thanks!
