But the status of library user experience design as a professional field is impacted by the absence of a single consistent definition of the area. While we can workshop card sorts and pick apart library redesigns, even user experience librarians can barely agree about what it is they do – let alone why it’s important. How we talk about the user experience matters. So, in this 90 minute talk, we’ll fix that.
