After a brief hiatus, the DLF Jobs Digest returns — with news of a
new and improved posting service! HR folks, search committee chairs, and hiring managers can share positions directly at:
— where users are now able to search, browse, and consult a map to find relevant job ads. The service still includes DLF's friendly, customized promotion of your positions, with some additional bells and whistles and — as always — is free for
DLF member organizations and available to others at a small fee.
Now, on to the digest!
Since our last episode...
the Smithsonian Libraries seeks a
Data Developer to facilitate use and re-purposing of data across platforms and systems;
Penn State is looking for a
Digital Preservation Librarian with a "proactive awareness of social responsibility, inherent and historical institutional biases, and
ethics of digital preservation;”
the Library of Congress seeks a
Chief for its newly-established Digital Collections Management & Services Division, responsible for the
full lifecycle management of digital collections;
Amherst College Library wants an “inventive leader, adroit manager, and indefagitable collaborator” as its new
Head of Digital Programs;
and, finally, Yale University seeks an
Archivist to work on archival and manuscript collections across all formats, including born-digital collections.
