Hi all,

Hope everyone’s having a good week! I tried to make this digest short and sweet because of all the things we need to do for the Forum, but these these five opportunities are too promising!

· The Georgia State University Library seeks a highly motivated and dynamic individual to build the Library’s connections with the sciences as the Science Librarian<https://jobs.diglib.org/job/science-librarian/>. The Science Librarian will collaborate with other librarians in providing outreach and services to health professions, public health, nursing, and other academic programs dependent on the candidate’s background and experience.

· The University of Texas at Austin Libraries is looking for someone to be their new History and Western Studies Librarian<https://jobs.diglib.org/job/history-and-western-european-studies-librarian-i-ii-or-iii/>. Anchored in rich connections and supported by robust service infrastructures, the successful candidate will be well positioned to develop new and curate existing collections, and to initiate, collaborate on, and facilitate transformations in higher education through significant partnerships with their communities.

· Northwestern University wants a Digital Preservation Librarian<https://jobs.diglib.org/job/digital-preservation-librarian-2/> to design, coordinate, and execute the day-to-day operations of repository preservation services for significant digitized and born-digitized collections. A few of these duties include providing leadership and collaborating with library experts to help manage digitized and born digital collections for preservation and access as well as developing digital preservation policies.

· Drexel University Libraries seeks a Digital Repository Application Developer<https://jobs.diglib.org/job/digital-repository-application-developer/> to develop solutions for managing digital collections, research data, university records, and digital scholarship. Working primarily with their Islandora implementation, this position will play a key role as the Libraries advance preservation services and public access for a wide array of digital content.

· The MIT Libraries is looking for a Program Head<https://jobs.diglib.org/job/program-head-data-management-services/> to lead and develop the Libraries’ growing program in Data Management Services. The program head will lead an interdepartmental team that develops and supports research data services offered to the MIT community, manage the development and operation of the DMS portfolio of projects and services, and enable collaborative work and efficient group process among DMS team members.
