Dear Content Interest Group members, As many of you know, a small working group came together last fall to develop a new survey of web archiving in the U.S., following on NDSA surveys in 2011<http://www.digitalpreservation.gov/documents/ndsa_web_archiving_survey_report_2012.pdf> and 2013<http://ndsa.org/documents/NDSA_USWebArchivingSurvey_2013.pdf>, to track and document current web archiving practices, as well as to gain a sense for emerging trends in the field. You may have seen overviews of the results of the 2016 survey, conducted between January 20-February 16<http://blogs.loc.gov/thesignal/2016/01/survey-how-do-you-approach-web-archiving/>, at the SAA Web Archiving Roundtable meeting in August and at Digital Preservation 2016.
