Interested in joining a talented and innovative team? Los Alamos National Laboratory's Research Library is looking for an experienced Digital Information Technologist.

The main responsibility of the position will be the design, development, usability, implementation and management of digital library services with an initial focus on the Research Library's institutional repository. The Digital Information Technologist is expected to maintain a keen awareness of trends in digital tools and services, and will pursue opportunities for enhancing digital services through the adoption of new technologies, linked data practices, projects to develop new digital services, collaborations and partnerships.

Located in northern New Mexico, Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in strategic science on behalf of national security. LANL enhances national security by ensuring the safety and reliability of the U.S. nuclear stockpile, developing technologies to reduce threats from weapons of mass destruction, and solving problems related to energy, environment, infrastructure, health, and global security concerns.

The Research Library at Los Alamos National Laboratory delivers agile, responsive knowledge services, connecting people with resources, tools and expertise. Staff members work closely with colleagues within and across teams. The Research Library values strong outreach to Lab scientists and engineers and supports the scholarly communication lifecycle.
