The detailed schedule for the Southern Miss Institutional Repository Conference (SMIRC) is now available on the conference website at http://lib.usm.edu/smirc/irschedule.html. Registration remains open through Friday, March 31. Registration is FREE and includes breakfast and lunch on April 13. The registration form is available at http://lib.usm.edu/smirc/irregister.html. The conference features keynote speaker Dr. Paul Royster (University of Nebraska-Lincoln) and includes poster sessions, lightning talks, and concurrent sessions. We are also introducing a new section at this year's conference entitled IR Highlights. IR Highlights provide attendees with the chance to give a brief overview (5-10 mins.) of one collection in their university's IR. This could be a collection representing a vital partnership, a collection that is a point of pride for the institution, or simply a collection that has a fascinating story. The goal is that hearing these stories might inspire others who work with IRs to consider new applications or new collections for their own IRs. All attendees are welcome to participate by completing the submission form<https://forms.usm.edu/library/view.php?id=14844>. Time is limited, so submissions will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please contact [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> if you have any questions about IR Highlights or about SMIRC in general. ######################################################################## to manage your DLF-ANNOUNCE subscription, visit diglib.org/announce
