Regular Expressions August 21 & 23, 10 am - 12 pm (CDT) This course is an introduction to managing and editing data by learning the syntax and construction of a regular expression, which is a sequence of characters that define a search (and sometimes replace) pattern. The basic characters used to construct a pattern will be discussed and then the patterns will be used in hands-on examples. Regular expressions are used in integrated library system search/replace reports, and some text editors (like Notepad++). Register today at https://www.amigos.org/node/4546. Early bird registration ends July 31. View our entire training schedule at http://www.amigos.org/continuing_education.
