This week, my household got a new addition that’s shaking things up: a 3D printer. Do any of you have one at home? My partner is super excited to set up a work station in our two-room apartment, which is great—but we’re going to have to rearrange ALL the furniture (and buy some new) to make it fit. Maybe we’ll need to move to a bigger apartment? Or out to the suburbs? Maybe we should get a house. For this 3D printer. Aha. I’m actually looking forward to working on some designs, and am pretty impressed that libraries have had a hand in making the tech so ubiquitous. We’re –this close- to Star Trek replicators now, right?
