Greetings!

As a follow-up to the 8th annual VIVO Conference held at Weill Cornell Medicine last week, the Samuel J. Wood Library is hosting a NISO Virtual Conference entitled “Research Information Systems: the Connections Enabling Collaboration<http://www.niso.org/news/events/2017/2017_virtconf/aug16_virtconf/>” and you are invited to attend!

This virtual conference will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 11:00am – 5:00pm in the Samuel J. Wood Library. See this link for an agenda and speakers<http://www.niso.org/news/events/2017/2017_virtconf/aug16_virtconf/>. If you missed the VIVO Conference, VIVO speakers include Rebecca Bryant from OCLC, who will talk about creating a culture of research reputation, and Muhammad Javed from Cornell, who will discuss VIVO as a Research Information Management System. Others in attendance last week, such as our colleagues at Virginia Tech, will also present as part of this Virtual Conference.

If you would like to attend this virtual conference in person at Weill Cornell next week, please RSVP here<https://weillcornell.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3wyd0ZjtTSN63Sl>.
