Sometimes, I really miss being on a college campus at this time of year: everyone rushing around with their backpacks, headed to class. The carrels and stacks in the library. Freshly-printed syllabi and fine-tip pens. The freshmen wandering around with
a lost look in their eyes. Ah, to be back there.
That feeling lasts about 30 seconds before I start getting residual anxiety about term papers and final exams. Ah, to be done.
