iPRES 2018 BOSTON -
Where Art and Science Meet - The Art In the Science & The Science In the Art of Digital Preservation - will be co-hosted by MIT Libraries and Harvard Library on September 24-27, 2018. Help us celebrate the first
15 Years of iPRES, the premier international conference on the preservation and long-term management of digital materials.
This preliminary call for contributions seeks abstracts for papers that tell stories about bridging knowledge gaps in teams, implementing technologies, and overcoming barriers towards proper
digital stewarding of digital items, assets, works and collections. Be creative. Be inspiring. Be inclusive. The theme of the call -
where art and science meet - aims to broaden the variety of voices and approaches that fall under the nomenclature of digital preservation. In keeping with the theme, the program committee will embrace creative proposals that demonstrate how research
and theory directly impact and influence practice at all levels.
