Hi folks, I'm very much looking forward to our first meeting together and it's a great honour to be co-chairing the group with "the most obedient and most humble" Nathan! Thanks to Sibyl for all her work and congratulations, Sibyl, on your election to the Coordinating Committee. Corey

PS, for those who don't know me, a little background:

I'm the Digital Preservation Coordinator for the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries (COPPUL) https://coppul.ca/digital-preservation, where I develop services, infrastructure, and organizational capacity to support long-term preservation for our members. I've been active in academic libraries for 15 years, most recently as Systems Librarian at the University of Victoria, where I oversaw web archiving and digital preservation. I'm active in several national preservation efforts in Canada, including as a founding member of the Portage Preservation Expert Group, the Canadian Association of Research Libraries’ Digital Preservation Working Group, and the Canadian Web Archiving Coalition.

It has belatedly occurred to us that our February meeting (2/19, 3-4pm EST) falls on Presidents’ day and that some members may be off work. We certainly don’t want anyone calling in to a conference call from home on a holiday! I’d also like to introduce our new co-chair, Corey Davis from the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries in Canada. Sybil Schaefer has been elected to the NDSA Coordinating Committee leadership and will be rotating off as co-chair of the Infrastructure Working Group. Please join me in welcoming Corey and congratulating Sybil!
