Dear colleagues,



You are warmly invited to participate in LDCX 2018
<http://library.stanford.edu/projects/ldcx/2018-conference>, an
unconference at Stanford University held from *March 26-28, 2018*. This
year’s event will be held at the Koret-Taube Conference Center in the
center of campus.



*High-level potential themes* for this year’s event include:

   - artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to libraries,
   archives, and museums;
   - data-forward architectures and APIs, ETL, data pipelining, and
   serverless system design;
   - web archiving;
   - distributed digital preservation;
   - modern front-end system integration, including convergence in GLAMs
   and building an ecosystem of software developers around IIIF.

*Registration:* This year’s registration fee is $100 and includes light
breakfast, lunch, and evening receptions. If you are planning to attend,

*Follow-on and related events:* As in previous years, we also plan on
hosting two additional days (March 29-30) for a Samvera Partners’ meeting
and the Samvera Developer Congress. Please let us know if you have
potential ideas for topics or projects for the Developer Congress. There
will also be a LOCKSS Alliance Meeting from March 29-30.
