I love a good meme. This morning, as I glanced at today’s date, I was reminded of a couple of them that will inevitably be popping up in our feeds soon: the perennial
Miss Congeniality scene, and the classic
Justin Timberlake joke. (Or last year’s evolution of the JT joke: a photo of
dry ramen noodles.)
Lots of cultural heritage institutions have been getting in on meme creation and circulation, and it’s such fun to witness. For instance, did you see when the Museum of English Rural Life’s tweet about
a sheep went viral last week? I’m still cackling about their use of
this image to demonstrate the process of explaining the meme’s trajectory to their board. Which reminds me— you’re here about the Jobs Board.
