Current and past library residents and residency coordinators are invited to participate in a survey for a study titled “Improving Library Residencies: A Mixed-Methods Study.”

The purpose of this study is to learn more about how libraries can develop and execute successful residencies for new librarians to learn job-related skills. Your answers in this questionnaire will help us explore best practices for residencies.

This online questionnaire should take about ten minutes to complete. There are no risks to you in participating in this research. Although there are no direct benefits to participating in this research, doing so may help to improve the library profession as a whole.

This study has been reviewed by the Institutional Review Boards (IRB) at the University of Utah, Coastal Carolina University, and Stony Brook University.
