Dear All,

We are forming an interest group to bring together folks who are interested
in open access, open education, and open data in the Philadelphia area and
surrounding regions. We hope this group can be a space for idea exchange,
learning, and collaboration. We also hope the group will help us identify
ways to work together across our campuses to collaborate on larger events
and initiatives.

You are invited to our first in-person meeting, on *Tuesday, September 25,
from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM* at Temple University in Paley Library’s Lecture Hall.
The first hour of the meeting will focus on Open Access Week 2018. We want
to know: what are you doing on your campus to advance open access? What are
you planning for Open Access Week? We hope to be able to share and
brainstorm low-budget, high-impact ideas for folks to take back to their
campuses. The second hour of the meeting will be left open for more
informal networking.

If you are interested in joining us, please RSVP here:

If you cannot make the meeting but would like to stay in touch for future
collaboration, there’s a space on the form to indicate that as well.

Please feel free to forward to your colleagues and peers in the area!

Best,

Maria Aghazarian (Swarthmore College) and Annie Johnson (Temple University)
