This workshop is appropriate for Archivematica beginners who have little or no experience with Archivematica. Topics will include: * Archivematica in the digital preservation landscape * How Archivematica works * Archivematica’s core functionality * Specialized workflows…and more! Participants should plan to bring their own laptop for hands-on exercises. The workshop will be delivered in English, with some assistance available in Spanish. Self-assessment and working with a consultant can both be valuable, but a peer assessment goes one step further to create a community of support for building and sustaining a digital preservation program. Participants will leave this workshop with a peer assessment tool to implement in their own communities and will gain valuable practice using the tool during the workshop.
