Working in digital preservation, collections, or museum library management? DLF invites you to participate in its monthly Museums Cohort<https://www.diglib.org/groups/membership-cohorts/museums-cohort/> meetings on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 11am Pacific / 2pm Eastern.

Today (January 23), the group will talk about the digital infrastructures of museum libraries/archives. Prompts for discussion will include:

  * What does your ‘digital library’ look like? A department, a program, or a single staff member?
  * What have your strategies been for building these (staff, technology, budgeting)?
  * Can anyone give guidance in /examples of creating a fully realized, cohesive digital program?
  * Strategies when you’re the only permanent staff in archives.
  * Dealing with a cottage industry situated within existing departments.

The DLF Museums Cohort<https://www.diglib.org/groups/membership-cohorts/museums-cohort/> is a group of cultural and arts organizations who are working with other DLF members, across disciplinary and institutional boundaries, to build skills, share ideas, strengthen digital engagement and collections, and advance technological initiatives in service of their common mission. Like DLF working groups, the Cohort’s meetings and activities are open to all.

Call-in information and further details can be found on the agenda<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ltcvuR3FNGp3WBFR79nx7dTdOGbRv6w-4pmJihOOVUU/edit?usp=sharing>.
