Subject: [Iliads] ILiADS 2019 Call for Proposals

The ILiADS<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__iliads.org&d=DwMFaQ&c=nE__W8dFE-shTxStwXtp0A&r=lIIqCRfMMVUNG0tkFclT59NPCdXI-aDjTPtmznZNQcY&m=HQRs5Utrivgdbi-aACU4wAU-du-7AzDJAqYG2uNwZe0&s=kdPDdiERkwrZhGN48Ch_1Zmn4bhS0aVsbktFuWtguSM&e=> Steering Committee welcomes proposals for the fifth annual Institute for Liberal Arts Digital Scholarship! This year's Institute will be hosted by the Ohio Five and will take place July 14-19, 2019 at the College of Wooster.

ILiADS offers a week-long intensive environment for collaborative project teams composed of some mix of researchers, librarians, technologists, and students to build upon established digital pedagogy or scholarship projects and/or launch new ones. To help get a new project started and/or clear hurdles, each team is assigned a Liaison expert to consult on the project and help connect them to other experts. The schedule for the retreat-like week includes focused team time supplemented by panels and talks designed around the cohort. This allows space for hands-on exploration and open inquiry and allows for the community to drive professional development throughout the week through responsive pop-up sessions and spontaneous collaborations. Over the course of the week, team members will learn more about their own collaboration and how to sustain their project into the future.

The steering committee encourages proposals from teams in whole or in part new to digital scholarship. Projects of all types, and in any stage, are welcomed, and projects which include or are led by undergraduates are especially encouraged.

As you prepare your submission, please follow the proposal guidelines<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__iliads.org_proposal-2Dguidelines-2D2019_&d=DwMFaQ&c=nE__W8dFE-shTxStwXtp0A&r=lIIqCRfMMVUNG0tkFclT59NPCdXI-aDjTPtmznZNQcY&m=HQRs5Utrivgdbi-aACU4wAU-du-7AzDJAqYG2uNwZe0&s=nFyItuqwmvt8246vzFDLzqbFZ70ilczillICfYqv6sE&e=>.
