Happy Friday (and almost weekend to you)!

I am delighted to announce that we have two co-chairs for our Awards Working Group.

Krista Oldham, University Archivist, Clemson University
Stephen Abrams, Head of Digital Preservation, Harvard Library (and CC member)

Not ready to be a co-chair but still interested? Let Krista and Stephen know of your interest.

Thank you both!

Best,

Bradley

Greetings, NDSA’ers!

The NDSA Coordinating Committee has been spending the last several weeks mapping out its strategic plans for 2019 as well as confirming the leadership of its various Interest and Working Groups. You can always keep track of those groups here

We are in search of at least one chair (or two co-chairs) for one of our current groups: the Awards Working Group. Our current chair, Sheila Morrissey, is cycling off after many years of excellent service and she is willing to help transition new leadership. This focus of this work is to solicit nominations and helps select our annual Innovation Awards Winners - announced at the annual DigiPres conference. This is an excellent opportunity to work with the Coordinating Committee and help identify and highlight the excellent work happening in our field. The NDSA strives to be an engaged community and this is your chance to make a difference in the global preservation landscape!

If you are interested or have any questions, please let me know (Bradley at Virginia dot edu) by 28 February.

Best,

Bradley
