The ALCTS PARS Digital Preservation Interest Group (DPIG) seeks speakers to present at the ALA Annual Conference to be held in Washington DC on Sunday, June 23, 2019, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

The Digital Preservation Interest Group's charge is to serve as a venue for discussing the preservation management of digital assets whether commercial, born-digital or converted e-resources.

This year's theme is "The Impact of Digital Preservation on Other Fields of Expertise"

Potential topics could include, but are not limited to:
*  Work in progress or successful implementation of digital preservation initiatives with respect to policies, planning, metadata, or tools and technology
*  Integration of digital preservation planning across workflows with respect to the work of other areas of expertise
*  Sharing of expertise or collaborative initiatives in conjunction with other disciplinary areas that support digital preservation

Complete proposals must include a title, abstract (no more than 200 words), and information for each speaker (name, title, institution, brief bio, and email address).

Please email proposal abstracts to Justin Baumgartner ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) and/or Patrice-Andre Prud'homme ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) by Friday, April 26, 2019. Notifications will be sent out by May 3, 2019.
