The NC State University Libraries invites applications for the position of Information Technology Projects Librarian. The IT Projects Librarian leads project and portfolio management for the Libraries’ Information Technology department. The IT department plays a critical role in supporting the Libraries’ success in charting a new path for research libraries by developing effective computing, AV, and software solutions for the Libraries.

Reporting directly to the Department Head, this position collaborates with IT managers to improve project planning and apply project management practices to help department staff successfully bring projects to completion. This position also plays a key role in advancing technology initiatives across the NC State University Libraries organization, working with groups of stakeholders to plan and execute innovative projects. As an advocate for project management best practices, the IT Projects Librarian promotes the use of effective project management tools and techniques across the organization.
