This message is a reminder to register, if you haven’t already, for the first biennial conference of the Association for Computers and the Humanities (http://www.ach.org)—to take place in Pittsburgh, PA, July 23rd through July 26th.
EARLY BIRD registration will continue for a week—the deadline is Monday, June 25! After this date, the fee for registration will increase by $50.00. Please see the conference registration page for more information. Information about conference accommodations in the area is also available.
ACH is the United States-based constituent organization in the Alliance for Digital Humanities Organizations (ADHO). The ACH 2019 conference, in partnership with Keystone DH, provides a forum for conversations on an expansive definition of digital humanities in a broad array of subject areas, methods, and communities of practice. ACH recognizes that this work is inherently and inextricably sociopolitical, and thus additionally, but not exclusively, welcomes scholarship that emphasizes social justice through the use of computers and related technologies in the study of humanistic subjects.
Check out the stellar conference program here!
ACH gratefully acknowledges generous sponsorship in support of the 2019 conference from the University Library System at the University of Pittsburgh, the MA Program in Digital Humanities, CUNY Graduate Center, the School of Computing and Information and the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh and the Dietrich College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Libraries at Carnegie Mellon University.
We hope to see some of you in Pittsburgh in July this summer!
