Princeton Theological Seminary invites applications for a Metadata Librarian. The Princeton Theological Seminary Library strengthens teaching, inspires learning, broadens access, fosters research, embraces change, and advances and preserves knowledge, in support of the Seminary’s mission. Shaped by two centuries of development, the Library embraces its role at the intersection of the theological record and the community of scholars; continues Princeton Seminary's commitment to build collections of depth; and promotes an environment of broad access to the theological heritage.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Initiatives and serving as a key member of a small team of librarians and technologists, the Metadata Librarian possesses knowledge of library metadata standards and applies skill with XML and related technologies (XSLT, XQuery, XML Schema) to develop and enhance metadata for the library's digital projects and collections.
