OCLC values your opinions and invites you to participate in a survey about your experiences with and need for persistent identifiers. A persistent identifier (PI or PID) is a long-lasting reference to a document, file, web page, or other object. The term 'persistent identifier' is usually used in the context of digital objects that are accessible over the Internet. Typically, such an identifier is not only persistent but actionable (you can plug it into a web browser and be taken to the identified source).

This online survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and will be available at the following link until 13 September 2019: Persistent Identifier Survey<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PersistentIdentifier>. Once you have opened this survey link, you will have the option to complete the survey in English, French, Spanish or German.

If you have questions about the survey, please contact me at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

We are grateful for your participation and look forward to your feedback.
