The position will start immediately for 2 years and could be renewed for
more 2 years depending on the performance.

The Post Doctoral Fellow scientist in this position will participate in the
research project and develop innovative experiment on data science, related
to data management and data analysis, based on deep learning-based modeling.

The Post Doctoral Fellow scientist will work with Prof. Pedro Luiz
Pizzigatti Correa, Prof. Jean Ometto, Profa. Katia Maria Paschoaletto
Micchi de Barros Ferraz and PhD Solange Santos (SciELO) to
develop data science experiments, publish research papers, supervise
students, and conduct outreach and educational activities on the research
project.

Applicants should have a PhD in computer science or related areas such as
computer engineering, information technology, or statistics with an
academic research track record in big data analytics, machine learning,
deep learning, or statistics. Demonstrated programming skills in machine
learning and deep learning and demonstrated proficiency in both written and
spoken English are required. Experience of writing proposals and/or
supervising students is desired.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected
candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of
BRL 7.373,10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of
the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly
related to the research activity.

The Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (Poli/USP) has over a
