Islandora Camp is heading back to its birthplace on Prince Edward Island
this summer, from July 20 to 22.

Hosted by the University of Prince Edward Island, this three-day event
features a variety of Islandora content: Ohe day of general and
introductory sessions about the software and the community that uses and
supports it, one day of hands-on workshop training with tracks for
developers and front-end users, and one day of sessions on specific sites,
tools, and topics of interest to Islandora users.

Islandora is an open-source software framework that was first created on
Prince Edward Island. Now adopted at over 300 institutions across the
globe, it is designed to help organizations and their audiences
collaboratively manage and discover digital assets using a best-practices
framework. Built on a base of Drupal, Fedora, and Solr, Islandora is free
to use and supported by an extensive user community.
