Thank you, Scott.
I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to the work. I’m also deeply thankful for the efforts of our founding co-conveners Shea Swauger and Yasmeen Shorish. The vision and energy required for building
and sustaining a working group like this is a real achievement and I am so appreciative—it has offered all of us the opportunity to gather and respond to shared concerns.
As Scott indicated, we will be in touch soon with plans for 2020.

Hi everyone,
Please join me in welcoming
Michelle Gibeault as the next co-convener for the Technologies of Surveillance Working Group.
We received two submissions to our recent co-convener nomination form, and they were both for Michelle! So I'm happy to share that Michelle has accepted, and Michelle and I are now working to shape
the 2020 agenda for the ToS group.
In the coming weeks, watch for updates related to:
I'd also like to recognize our outgoing co-convener, Shea Swauger, for performing two-years of service as the leader of ToS. Thank you, Shea!
Please be in touch with any questions or feedback.
All best,
