The ALCTS PARS Digital Preservation Interest Group (DPIG) seeks speakers to present at its annual meeting during the 2020 ALA Annual Conference in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday, June 28 from 9:00-10:00 A.M.



This year's theme is: "Adapting to an Evolving Preservation Environment"



Potential topics could include but are not limited to:



*  Digital Preservation Standards and Best Practices

*  Collections Needs Assessment Methodology and Tools

*  Cost Funding Models

*  Resource Development, Staff Training and Development

*  New Tools and Technology

*  Storage Strategies and Infrastructure

*  Collaboration, Outreach, and Advocacy


PDPIG welcomes 250-500-word proposals describing 10-15 minutes presentations. Please email proposals to DPIG co-chairs Angela Fritz ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) and Justin Baumgartner ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) by April 3, 2020.


Presenters will be notified of their acceptance on April 17, 2020.


About ALCTS PARS Digital Preservation Interest Group (DPIG): The Digital Preservation Interest Group's charge is to serve as a venue for discussing the preservation management of digital assets whether commercial, born-digital or converted e-resources.
