Greetings, Besides paying vendors like Content Cafe and Syndetics for book jacket images, is anyone using APIs to display their book jackets in OPACs or discovery layers? For example Google Books, Amazon, etc.? Specifically I wasn't sure the logistics of meeting the terms of service as a library, additional costs, or any limits to the number of requests? How fast did the API work? Would the API be able to handle a catalog with millions of bibliographic records? If you have any feedback, please let me know. We currently use a Content Cafe for images, but we are looking for other ways to provide images at a lower cost.
